I started my career as an inventor by creating games. I discovered that it was easy for me to come up with unique strategy games. Not having been educated as an engineer or industrial designer but loving art and crafts (see my artwork over the years), I developed my own prototypes using cardboard and glue in my apartment. From the very start of my career I achieved a reputation for being one of the best game inventors in the industry. I began in 1969 at a time when there were only about 12 freelance toy inventors and more than 100 large toy companies. Today there are too few large toy companies and hundreds of us inventors.
